Work Packages

WP 1 - Project management
Aims:

• organisation of the project;
• co-ordination of the partners' work;
• interaction with the European Commission;
• performance of all activities required for a successful project management.

Tasks
The Project Steering Committee is responsible for the overall project co-ordination and for the relations with the European Commission. It will ensures that the project maintains technical and cost objectives, and resolves technical and administrative issues, will take strategic decisions and agree on project modifications if necessary. It will control the results of the activities and manage the integration and consistency of the work within the project. The PSC will be supported by the experts of the internal office of the City of Modena, - Progetto Europa - in charge of the co-ordination of European Projects. The office will take care of project planning and monitoring with respect to the project scheduling, progress reports, cost statements, budgetary overview.
The PSC will meet once every two months in order to verify and monitor the activities and will be composed by the project managers appointed by each partner..
The Technical Committee will support the PSC by supporting all their technical decisions, will ensure the co-ordination of the activities and communication with the different external consultants, furthermore it will revise every deliverable before submitting it to the European Commission. The TC will meet every month and will be composed by technicians and experts according to the subjects treated.
