Recognition awarded

Progetto Europa has been awarded numerous forms of recognition highlighting the professionality of the services it offers. Below, we list some of the most important.

  • In the Italian Official Journal, the Public Services Department of the Presidenza del Consiglio chose Progetto Europa as a model example to be used on a national level for the establishment of efficient and functional European Offices.

    Progetto Europa was also awarded by the same Public Services Department as part of the initiative “Cento Progetti al Servizio dei Cittadini” on the occasion of the Forum P.A. held in Rome in May 2002.

  • The newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore cited Progetto Europa as an experience of great success in its Local Authorities supplement on 7th October 2000.

  • The Tagliacarne Institute chose Progetto Europa as a benchmark model in various projects as part of the PASS programme for the establishment of European Offices in the Local Authorities of Southern Italy.

  • The Institute for the Study of International Politics (ISPI) presented Progetto Europa in its study carried out as part of the “Observatory on the Internationalisation of Regional and Local Public Administrations”, which involved researchers from Bocconi University and the Sant’Anna high school of Pisa.

  • Progetto Europa was invited to Rhodes (Greece) by the European Commission to participate in the General Assembly of Official Information Networks of the European Commission to illustrate its own successful experience in the management of community funding.

  • Progetto Europa was also invited to Brussels (Belgium) by the European Commission as a speaker on the training course for Official Information Network supervisors of the European Commission, relatingon the topic of community funding management.

  • Progetto Europa was invited to La Coruña (Spain) by the European Commission to speak to the Provincial Administration on its own successful experience in the organisation of a European Office and in the management of community funding.

  • Progetto Europa was picked out by both ANCI and UPI Emilia-Romagna as a benchmark for the delivery of services using community funding.

  • Lega Servizi & Consulenza SRL, the operative branch of the Legautonomie, chose Progetto Europa as a partner in the teaching of skills and know-how with regard to community projects to other local authorities nationwide.
