Civinet Italia
The Italian network Civinet, which is part of the European initiative Civitas, has been created to allow Italian cities to share experiences and best practices for the development and realization of strategies, policies and actions in the field of sustainable mobility. In particular, the network aims at promoting Civitas philosophy and values regarding sustainable mobility to cities, media, citizens and other interested stakeholders; promoting a dialogue with local authorities, ministries and the European Union on the subject of sustainable mobility. In 2014, the network has obtained the official patronage of the Italian Ministry of Environment and Protection of the Land and Sea.

Climate Alliance
Climate Alliance is a network that gathers European local and territorial authorities in partnership with indigenous rainforest people with the aim of the protection of the global climate.
The cities involved in the network are committed to reduce greenhouse emissions and to promote projects, new ideas and pilot actions in the environmental field.

Covenant of Mayors
The Covenant of Mayors is the main European network for local and regional authorities committed to increase energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources on their territories. Members of the network aim to achieve and exceed the 20% CO2 reduction objective by 2020, through the implementation of Sustainable Energy Action Plans.

Energy-Cities
Energy-Cities is a network of European cities which aim to strengthen the role of local authorities in the field of energy and environmental protection, promoting the exchange of experiences and the development of joint projects in the field of sustainable energy sources, efficiency and energy saving.
The network is actively committed in the promotion of informative campaigns about environmental sustainability and in the launch of pilot actions directed to make public administrations, companies, professionals and citizens aware of energy efficiency.

European Forum for Urban Security
European Forum for Urban Security is a European network of local cities and authorities with the joint goal of promoting new policies and strategies for preventing and combating urban crime.
The network is actively engaged in organising seminars and conferences, in developing research and studies and in classifying best practices regarding security policies.

EXARC
Exarc gathers several archeological parks and open-air museums. Strong of a century-old tradition, especially in German, Scandinavian and Anglo-saxon worls, these museums create a connection between reaserch ans dissemination.
Through the reconstruction of past settings and activities, re-enactments of historical events and everyday life scenes, these archeological sites are able to communicate to a wide audience, in a strong evocative way, outcomes of archeological excavations and scientific research.

Created by the World Health Organization, Health Cities promotes policies and activities for the protection of health and sustainable development. It mainly focuses on poor and disadvantaged people and on the most vulnerable categories of citizens.

NEMO – Network of European Museum Organisations
Established in 1992, NEMO is an independent network of more than 30,000 national museum organisations all around Europe. The network promotes initiatives to enhance the role of museums in the cultural development of Europe and to foster policies for the enhacement of museums, who are key players in safeguarding cultural heritage, place of sharing and dialogue between different cultures, contexts in which to learn, share and promote social inclusion projects.

Intercultural Cities Programme
Intercultural Cities Programme of the Council of Europe helps cities in capitalizing the benefit of cultural diversity and in elaborating strategies and policies aiming at integration and peaceful coexistence between people of different ethnic, religious and linguistic background, through the involvement of institutions, administrators and policy makers, civil servants, experts, private sector and civil society.
The programme: encourages knowledge and local best practice exchange at international level; promotes the debate among civil servants expert in the field of diversity management and intercultural mediators of different cities in Europe and in the world; gives assistance and support to its members in the implementation of innovative projects in the field of cross-culture; encourages joint initiatives among member cities of the programme.
