ERASMUS+ Traineeship at Europe Direct

Europe Direct gives young people the chance to perform a traineeships at its centre. The traineeships must be integrated into student’s academic curriculum or must be the accomplishment of a learning pathway in an Education Institute or Centre.

Traineeships Activities

The duration can vary according to the individual needs of the trainee.

The hosting organization agrees to formalize the traineeships relation with the trainee through an agreement containing the modalities of the traineeships (place, period, purpose) and to prepare, at the end of it, a final certification with a declaration of competences.


  • must be a University student or a recent graduate
  • must benefit from an Erasmus+ study grant
  • knowledge of Italian language
  • basic notions on European Union Law
  • available at public speaking
  • good organizational skills

    Competences in EU information management, meetings and presentations addressed to young people.

    General tasks
    The trainee will collaborate with Europe Direct staff in the daily activities: press release on the main EU news, preparation of public information material, customer service and update of Europe Direct Modena website.

    Specific tasks “Educare all'Europa”
    The trainee will participate in Europe Direct educational lessons with a 15 minutes presentation in English on a European topic (art, music, countries characteristics, etc.). It is possible to support the presentation with slides, videos and pictures. The topic will be arranged with Europe Direct experts.
